Candle wick is pre-trimmed to appropriate length to allow the optimal heat extraction during candle burn. Trimming the wick further may affect optimal burn or cause tunneling. There also may be slight variations in the color of the candle wax due to the size and the amount of candle wax dye chips used per candle. Hot throw from candle and fragrance oil content remain the same.
